Angel Baby

June 2012, and my little angel is christened.

Along with overwhelming emotions of pride, happiness and love came the opportunity to decorate for an event worthy of an angel!

So I popped on my Martha Stewart hat and away I went!
It was a little crazy how excited I got making tissue paper pom poms, a candy buffet of pink and white lollies, photo display, glass milk bottles with personalised striped straws, together with roses, bubbles, candles and many, many cupcakes!  Let's not forget how I made hubby drape white fabric out on our alfresco to create a marquee with a bird cage centre piece!
I even made my own pink bath salt favours in glass bottles!  I had way too much fun!

Pink, pink, pink please!  Cliche all the way!
I wore Asos pink sequin dress.  Hubby wore pink Jack London shirt and the angel wore a handmade, vintage style christening dress of cotton and lace from Minoa Boutique complete with bonnet and booties.  In true fashion baby style she then changed into a white Pure Baby dress, handmade knit cardi and handmade lace headband from Carnival Designs.

Full of pink. Full of love.

30 and fabulous!

No not me!... Yet!
When one of my closest girlfriends announced her '30 and fabulous' party I was a teency bit excited!
Ok, so I don't get out as much as I used to and and a chance to dress up and have a night out with hubby (sans baby) is just what we need now and then.
Dressed in a black sequin Keepsake dress, Zara shoes and clutch, together with strawberry daiquiri in hand = one happy mamma!

So I stil have 2 years up my sleeve until I hit 30, but I sure felt fabulous, had a fabulous night and partied in a fabulous manner!

Dress available in black or gold from Emma & Eve - Add some sparkle to your life!

NB: When having a night out, try not to think about having to get up early the next morning if you have bubba's. Hehe

Once upon a time there was a single girl.

She met a boy.

They fell in love.

Then came marriage.

A miracle happend.

A life was born.

And so begins The Mummy Diaries...
...A collaboration of balancing the mummy life, along with my fashion business Emma & Eve, mummy/daddy things and much more...
